I've gone from ink drinker (bookworm) to entrepreneur with some interesting stops in between. The common threads between them all were communication and helping people and that's what continues to drive me. 

Books and sharing ideas fascinate me, whether burying myself in a book as a shy child, volunteering as a tutor for an adult literacy organization, standing up for workers as a labour activist or managing my province as a regional director for a national organization, everything revolved around effective communication. 

A boss once told me that my brain seems to shut off when I'm not busy. I took this as a compliment! I love being engaged and active in everything from hiking with my dogs, knitting, dancing or helping your work shine. What did other bosses and coworkers say about me?
